Lately, there has been a growing number of providers renting out caftans, and more and more of us are choosing a kaftan for a single evening.
Renting caftans: numerous advantages...
Many of you have been won over by this principle, which I must admit has a number of advantages.
For every evening on the horizon, I can easily find an elegant, classy outfit within my budget.
For girls who get bored pretty quickly, it's a win-win situation: they can show up to every party dressed differently.
Not to mention the fact that we have a solution for every unexpected evening.
... but also disadvantages
But you should know that this kaftan for one night belonged to someone else who probably lives not too far from you.
I know you'll think I'm overdoing it with this exclusive, but let's face it, girls, we're all like that 😉
You well know that in the same geographic area, we all go to the same service providers. How many times have I seen this famous kaftan worn by different people.
And over time, the girls get to know the list of rental outfits. I can hardly see myself wearing my kaftan while some are describing it: can you imagine, she rented it from such and such a place, it was worn the first time by so-and-so and then by her...
This argument may seem futile to you, I agree.
But honestly, you have to admit that wearing a rented kaftan is stressful! Fear of staining it, fear of moving, fear of dancing: LONG LIVE THE PARTY!!
Recently a friend of mine was wearing one of those caftans for one night: while she was dancing, the large diamond on the belt started to peel off!
Imagine her stress at that moment...the return to the landlady, the deposit cheque...!
My point of view
As you can see, I'm not really convinced.
What I'm looking for is peace of mind! I prefer to wear my own kaftan without stress or fear, being free in my actions because they only involve me 😉
What's more, I can choose the one I like, without any restrictions.
Of course, we've all experienced disappointment at the hands of a designer. But today it's much simpler, you can buy ready-made takchitas at very affordable prices.
While renting a nice kaftan costs about 70 euros, you can buy one for just a hundred euros or so. Which option is more advantageous then?
There are even some exclusive models that you can personalize and have made-to-measure.
You might say that over time, you end up with a lot of these, which isn’t the case with renting. But you’ll surely have other opportunities to wear it again, and if you really can’t stand it anymore, you can give it a second life: this neglected but still-good-condition kaftan can be resold.
Surely we all agree on this point: the marriage of a loved one.

That's right, the kaftan of this party has to make an impression. And there's no question of renting unless you are truly, really desperate.
And even if it stays in the closet, it will hold a certain sentimental value and will always remain in your mind as the kaftan of that evening.
